First Day



On this day, we had the honor to welcome the visiting guest lecturers as well as a large number of students from around the world. By 8:30 the organizing team had completed the initial set up, welcoming the first guests at 10:00. Polaroid photos of all the visiting academics taken, decorating the welcoming area.

The first day of the International Week was dedicated to the International Food Fair. Guest lectures shared traditional food from their homelands, to wild success. Students belonging to the international team also displayed their native delicacies, including Finnish munavoi, Nigerian planting, Spanish turron and Vietnamese summer rolls among others.
However the event was not limited to food, providing a variety of live musical performances, book presentations and dancing. The above created a natural platform for people to socialize.
